Normally at this time of year, we would be extending an invitation to you to attend our Annual General Meeting, held in mid-September. Our AGM event has been a highlight of our Blackwood calendar, as we meet to discuss the formal business of our AGM, and host an annual Blackwood gathering, where customers and their families, stakeholders and staff could meet and have fun engaging with each other about the latest developments in our homes, services, and in our technology such as CleverCogs to support independent living.
This year, due to the COVID-19 situation, we are following the Scottish Government Guidelines. Therefore in order to protect the safety of our customers, our AGM this year will be a short, virtual (online) meeting for Blackwood Members. We will share highlights from the AGM on the website later, so that we continue to keep you informed.
The Board has confirmed it is looking forward to our next opportunity to invite customers to come together when this is possible.
