Cala Sona Court, Old Manse Road , Wishaw , North Lanarkshire ML2 0DY
Built within spacious grounds and with a magnificent view over the Clyde Valley, Cala Sona Court is located about a mile and a half from Wishaw's town centre, which has many large shops, restaurants and other amenities. The scheme was completed in September 2009.
The emphasis at Cala Sona Court is on tenants being as independent as possible. Tenants are encouraged to undertake all aspects of day-to-day living tasks as far as they are able. Housing Services staff can advise on alternative housing options.
The History of Cala Sona
Douglas Ferguson, a resident of Cala Sona Court wrote a short booklet detailing the history of the Cala Sona area (before and after sheltered housing).
With the help of local historians, and in particular our very own resident Mrs Danuta Miller, we're delighted to share the finished publication.
