If yes, then this is your opportunity to join Blackwood, one of Scotland’s leading care and housing providers as a Quality Control Manager. This is a national post which requires extensive travel between our Head Office in Edinburgh and regional offices across Scotland.
 
The Quality Control Manager is a key role within Blackwood to ensure a robust care quality control framework is developed and embedded within the organisation in line with our agreed Care Strategy Deliverables and Service Standards. We are looking for someone that prioritises a joined-up approach to managing and reporting service improvements that reflects the status of each of our care services. Your approach must also be one that consistently incorporates compliance of regulatory and legislative obligations, established good practice and with our own policy and procedures at every level.
 
Reporting to the Housing & Care Director, you will support each of Blackwood’s three Regional Managers to ensure that our growing services and innovative approaches are delivering quality and value for our customers which is a key deliverable within our Business Plan. You will be someone who can adopt a ‘lessons learned’ approach and is able to focus on developing Service Quality & Improvement Action Plans to ensure grades achieved by Blackwood reach the highest levels as set out in our KPIs.
 
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and you will make significant contributions to our Customer Engagement Plan by developing feedback methods and undertaking a range of customer engagement programmes to assess the quality of service provision. 
 
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with Senior Management and establishing relationships with our Corporate Services teams.
