At a sunny Murrayfield on Tuesday 12 September 2023, Blackwood Homes and Care staged one of our biggest ever Annual General Meetings with 148 attendees (even the rugby ball used for the photos was big!) enjoying a fun-packed day at Scotland's largest stadium.

We even welcomed Scottish Rugby legend Chris Paterson to join the fun in an event that was designed by our customers and built by Blackwood.

After the morning’s AGM, we posed for some snaps by the famous pitch before the fun unfolded.

In the President’s Suite, customers enjoyed Body Boosting Bingo, Dance Fitness, Meditation and all finished off with an unforgettable Blackwood Choir sing-song - activities which had been voted for beforehand.

All in all, it was a brilliant day and huge thanks to all our customers who managed to attend the event (and those who tuned in via the livestream broadcasted on YouTube).

Customers are at the heart of everything we do and our core purpose is to help people to live their lives to the full, so this event was immensely fulfilling to deliver.
