Covid-19 Housing Services in your Tier
The Scottish Government has set out new guidelines and Tier categories across the country. Blackwood has put measures in place to keep our customers and staff safe whilst continuing to deliver services. Please check what tier you live in here.
If you live in Tier 2 or 3 areas normal services will continue so do please report any repairs in the usual way.
If you live in Tier 4 areas we have made the following adjustments to our maintenance services:
- Emergency repairs only – non emergency repairs will be logged and the works will be ordered once the restrictions ease
- Essential service visits only – for example gas safety inspections
- Adaptations will be judged on case by case basis on need.
- Planned maintenance works, including the upgrading of smoke alarms are suspended
We hope that the restrictions will only last a matter of a few weeks and will keep you up to date regularly on our website.
Other Housing Services
Repairs to empty homes, allocations and viewings and landscaping and stair cleaning will continue as normal with the existing protocols in place to keep our contractors, employees and customers safe.
