Each room is unfurnished, so you can bring your furniture and personal belongings to decorate to your liking. The house is surrounded by spectacular walled gardens and a sun porch to the front of the house. Residents enjoy coming together to share delicious home-cooked meals twice a day. You can rest easy knowing that energy bills and meals are all included in your monthly rent & service charge.

"My mum needed to move from Ayrshire to the Highland's, ideally her new home would be closer to family, she would have company each day but also ensured she maintained her own independence. Whilst looking for what seemed to be the "impossible", we came across Blackwood Housing and their shared house, Davidson Villa in Nairn. Davidson Villia is the most beautiful Victorian villa, spacious, and just feels like "home".

"Following an initial enquiry, we viewed the property, which was exactly what we were after.  Nothing was too much of an ask, we could visit the property as many times as we needed, to ensure the move was "right" before making an application.  We asked what felt like hundreds of questions, none were left unanswered.  The application process was simple, quick and within a matter of months mum had moved to her new home.

"Living in a shared house, all of our boxes are "ticked", mum has her own flat, personal space, the use of the care alarm should she need to call for emergency assistance, communal meal times for company.  The staff available during the day are pleasant, & friendly.  Most importantly we have peace of mind that she is safe and happy.
