Our Care Homes

Our care homes are thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind, enabling residents to live as independently as possible, regardless of age or ability. We work with each person to create a personalised care plan that reflects how they want to live, whether that means a small amount of support or more complex, ongoing care.

There’s no care package too small or too large. What matters is that it’s right for you.

Blackwood operates three care homes across Scotland, each offering a safe and welcoming environment.

How to Access a Place in One of Our Care Homes

We work with the social work team to identify residents for our care homes when we have a vacancy.

If you are looking for a care home, please contact your local social work team. They will arrange for an assessment to be carried out and will provide advice on the care options available to you.

How Much Will It Cost, and Who Pays?

This will depend on your income.

The social work team will give you advice and information during your assessment, including details about what the local authority will contribute and whether you will need to make any payments from your own funds.
