Performance
Blackwood Homes and Care takes great care to consistently deliver high-quality services to all our customers.
To measure and report on our performance, we use various indicators such as customer satisfaction and service response times that we monitor through the year. We are also required to report on our performance to the Scottish Housing Regulator, which we do by submitting an Annual Return on the Charter by the end of May each year.
The Scottish Housing Regulator’s website contains additional information about our performance and how we compare with other landlords.
The Regulator’s website also contains more information on the Scottish Housing Charter for registered social landlords.
Every October, we publish a short summary of our performance specifically for our housing and care customers. This report demonstrates how we have performed in the previous financial year. We worked with Team Blackwood, our tenant scrutiny panel, on the contents of this report so that it shows customers what is important to them. We will publish the report for 2023/24 by the end of October.
We also report annually on our sustainability work, under overarching themes of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). We signed up to the Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing that sets criteria for this reporting.
Blackwood Homes and Care also provides care at home and manages three care homes. The care side of our business is regulated by the Care Inspectorate. The links below provide information about our current Care Inspectorate grades.
